The staff was especially helpful, always with a smile. The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to the square overlooking the castle and the center of the city. Close proximity to the Carlos Reis Municipal Museum. A great variety of savory food is offered at breakfast.

room is great, comfortable bed and everything is very spacious. quality of the breakfast is great, varied and everything is delicious, it includes very healthy products like cut fruit, oats, soy milk, etc. as well as homemade sweets every day. dinners in the restaurant are exquisite, quality of the product and presentation. We want to emphasize within the staff the treatment of the boy who attended us in the dinners, friendly, helpful, attentive, competent, resolute, 10 without a doubt, we were delighted with him.
The only problem we have is that we assume that the installations (pipes) are old or have little use and, more than one day, the water in the bathroom had a rather unpleasant brown colour. A hotel of these characteristics and that offers such great services should review this problem and solve it as soon as possible to complete a perfect stay.

Location
The bathroom had a bad smell, but they moved us immediately. It was not ideal but much better. We had a drink in the bar at night and they turned off the lights at 10.30pm without asking us we had finished. Not professional.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I was traveling alone and don't speak a word of Portuguese, but the staff really helped me arrange transportation which made getting around much easier. The restaurant was really good with delicious traditional dishes. I recommend the house red wine! The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!
Nothing!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the location couldn't be better - right in the center of town on the main square. Secondly, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with all the facilities I needed for a relaxing stay. The modern bathroom, complete with a whirlpool tub, was a luxurious touch that I truly appreciated.
No issues at all, my stay here was fantastic!

Marvellous and incredible location for our visit to a medieval castle at a short distance from the hotel. A multi-channel television, a seating area, and a writing desk available in the king room. Professionalism from the whole staff.

Comfy bed, good pillows, great bathroom, really helpful staff.
Maybe something to hold on to to get in and out of the shower.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel situated in the heart of the city. the location was unbeatable and allowed us to walk to all the sites and attractions, including just across from the castle. Our room was well-appointed and the modern bathroom with a whirlpool tub and large towels made us feel pampered. the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices, and the staff was always friendly and helpful.
Although some noise from people out having a good time did not bother us, some travelers may want to request a room not facing the front due to possible noise issues.

Had a fantastic breakfast and dinner here just what was required after the long drive down from Northern Spain. Would stay here again for sure!

clean, located in the center of town, good restaurant.
The receptionist did not know english well, so she did not understand well what we asked.
